The First annual Death Valley New Years Day ride.

Actually the second, but the first to go by that name. Several Vegas riders, and a couple of SLC riders meet on New Years day to ride thru Death Valley.

We breakfast at the Famous Crowbar Cafe.

 Steve has the new bike fever and wants to ride my Strom, so I'm on his HD for a few miles. I'm teased that with a helmet and no leathers, I not dressed correctly! haha.

 Next stop.

 Then to Badwater Basin the lowest point in Death Valley.

 Kind of desolate out here..

 And we exit the park, now for a spirited ride back to our lodging.

 Huh?

 Making our way home, we go thru Hurricane, then Zion National Park, up US 89 and home.

 Some days you are just better off staying in bed.....
